Weigang Fang

Prof Fang is a professor of the Department of Pathology, Peking University Health Science Center (PUHSC). He is the former president of the Chinese Division, International Academy of Pathology. He got PhD degree from Beijing Medical University in Pathology in 1991. He was awarded a WHO Fellowship and trained in the National Cancer Institute in the US from 1989 to 1991. He served as vice President for research in PUHSC from 2005 to 2016 and currently is the director of Peking University Clinical Research Institute. His main research interest has focused on molecular mechanisms of tumor metastasis and molecular pathology. He has been PIs for more than 30 national research projects and published more than 120 papers.
