Dr. Samreung Rangdaeng has graduated from Chiang Mai University, Faculty of Medicine and received fellowship training in Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Served back in the Pathology Department of Chiang Mai University for over 36 years. Specialized in cytopathology of head and neck and gynecologic cytology with over 35 publications in international journals,editorial board members for Archive Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Human Pathology Case Report and Acta Cytologica. and actively involved in IAC academic activities.

• President, Thai Society of Cytology (2004- present)
• Former department chief of Pathology, Chiang Mai University
• AP IAP Thailand Division Former Head
• Former Vice President of Royal College of Pathologists of Thailand
Residency and Fellowship Training:
• Residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, USA. 1986-1992
• Cytopathology fellowship training at the same institute under professor Ibrahim Ramzy, Dina Mody and Mary Schwartz.
